Cards Against ASOIAF is a printable party game built around the characters, houses, rivalries, betrayals, prophecies, and chaos of A Song of Ice and Fire. The deck uses Cards Against Humanity-style gameplay to turn familiar moments from George R. R. Martin’s fantasy series into funny, unexpected combinations.
The game includes 531 cards: 315 white and 216 black, with references to the Starks, Lannisters, Targaryens, Night’s Watch, Ironborn, Dorne, Free Folk, dragons, disastrous weddings, lemon cakes, fan theories, and plenty of very Westerosi decisions.
EditionCards also offers Cards Against Thrones for fans who want a deck focused more specifically on the Game of Thrones adaptation. The gameplay follows the familiar format used across Cards Against Humanity packs, while the content is built specifically around the ASOIAF world.
Gameplay
- One player becomes the Card Czar for each round.
- The Card Czar deals the white cards and reads one black card aloud.
- Every other player submits one white card as their answer.
- The Card Czar reads the combinations and chooses their favorite.
- The player whose card is chosen earns one point.
Winning
Cards Against ASOIAF does not require a fixed number of rounds. The group can stop whenever it wants, and the player with the most points at the end wins.
Surviving the weddings is optional.
