Cards Against Straw Hats: The One Piece Card Game With 230 Cards

One Piece has been around since 1997, following Monkey D. Luffy and his Straw Hat crew on their adventures across the Grand Line. Cards Against Straw Hats takes that world and turns it into a much darker, dirtier Cards Against Humanity-style party game.

The deck includes 230 cards: 80 black prompt cards and 150 white response cards. Expect references to characters, moments, and running jokes from One Piece, including Whitebeard, Nico Robin, Usopp’s nose, Zoro’s terrible sense of direction, Portgas D. Ace, Devil Fruits, and more.

Because the humor gets pretty offensive and adult, Cards Against Straw Hats is recommended for ages 17+ and is best played with other One Piece fans who won’t mind seeing their favorite characters completely ruined.

Gameplay

• Play with 4 to 20+ players, or use our 2–3 player rules.
• Choose one player as the Card Czar. Everyone else gets 7 white cards.
• The Card Czar reads a black prompt card.
• Everyone submits the white card they think fits best.
• The Card Czar picks their favorite response, and that player earns 1 Awesome Point.
• Choose a new Card Czar and start the next round.

Winning

Each winning response earns 1 Awesome Point. When you decide to end the game—perhaps with a classic Haiku—the player with the most points wins Cards Against Straw Hats.
