Rules of We’re Not Really Strangers
You may already know the game from TikTok or social media, but if not, here’s a quick refresher on how to play:
We’re Not Really Strangers works best with two players, where conversations can get more personal. Play through the three levels in order: Perception, Connection, and Reflection, taking turns asking and answering questions.
Mix the Wildcards throughout the deck for occasional challenges. Dig Deeper cards can be used once per level when you want someone to expand on an answer. Finish the game with the Final Card.
Most importantly, don’t rush. Give each other time to answer, play somewhere without distractions, and skip any question that makes someone uncomfortable.

The We’re Not Really Strangers printable cards have a simple, calming design that fits the game perfectly. The prompts are clear and free from explicit language, although the game is officially recommended for ages 15+.
