The Rules
You have probably played the game already, and if not, you’ve at least heard of it on social media. However, there’s a refreshment of the rules if you need them:
So, the game is ideally made for 2 players. The best way to play is to go through all the categories and levels of questions in order. Make sure to spread the wildcards and the dig deeper cards throughout the whole deck. You take turns to ask and answer cards until you already know everything about each other. When you’re done playing, you draw the final card and do whatever it says.
That isn’t the only way to play though. You might just shuffle all the categories and let the cards surprise you while playing. Also, you could draw one (or a few cards) per day, and not have a sit-and-play session. It’s all up to your preferences.
Ps. We’re Not Really Strangers isn’t a drinking game. If you’re looking for one, a good one actually, get the Sip & Challenge bundle, for only $9.95.
The Cards
Somehow, cards of We’re Not Really Strangers give a sense of peace and comfort. The content is clear and there aren’t any dirty words mentioned, but, it’s preferred these cards are used only by people who are 15 or older, because this is how they can be best understood.
As we mentioned, there are 3 base levels of questions: Perception, Connection, and Reflection, so the content keeps getting deeper. Also, the deck, just like the physical copy, includes wild cards too, to add excitement and challenges.
There are the so-called Dig Deeper cards included when you want to get into even more serious topics. The WNRS has a final card too, to end the game in the best possible way. If you’re printing the cards out, as we always recommend, read our printing guide.
It’s important to mention that this is not an official version made by the creators of the game. This one’s a fan-made file, made to bring you the game without paying a penny. However, if you want to get the full deck of 150 cards, just purchase the pack.
