The game includes 85 black cards and 180 white response cards about stepping on LEGO barefoot, grandpa’s weird stories, forgotten flushes, broken TV remotes, glitter-powered homework, and plenty more.
Like the Written By Kids Pack, it keeps things suitable for younger players. We recommend ages 10+, although younger kids can join if they understand the jokes and gameplay.
Gameplay
- Make a group of 4 or more people to play with. Fine. It works with as few as 2 or 3 players, too.
- Let someone be the Card Czar, who must read the black card of the round.
- Everyone else is dealt 7 white cards.
- When the black card is read, everyone else submits one white card, which they think makes the funniest combination with the black card of the round.
- The Card Czar (game judge) picks their favorite response, and that wins the round.
- A new round begins, and a new Card Czar is chosen.
More about the rules can be read at How to Play Cards Against Humanity.
Winning
Whoever wins the round, meaning their card gets chosen, gets to keep the black card of the round as an awesome point. When you decide to stop playing, whoever has the most awesome points wins the game.
